"The Beginning Part 1" is the tenth episode of the fourth season of 12 Monkeys, and the forty-sixth episode overall. This episode is also the first part of the two-part series finale.

The final battle against the Witness begins as the fate of time and mankind hangs in the balance; all the pieces finally come together to mark the end of the beginning.
