Benjamin Kalman was a bioengineer who worked for the Markridge Group. He participated in the creation of the Kalavirus.

History

Season 2

In 2016, Kalman was living in Europe, having left Markridge. Cole asked him to remove a tracking device from beneath José Ramse's skin. However, he first injected Ramse with a paralytic drug because he was going to turn Ramse over to the Army of the 12 Monkeys in exchange for protection from the plague. He told Ramse that Jennifer Goines would release the plague virus in New York during Chinese New Year 2016. He then tried to kill James Cole, but Cole killed him instead.
